Hello.
You may have heard that we’re shooting a Zombie-themed music video for our new free download single Tone of the Dead.
The video will be shot in super sexy HD and will directed by Phil Platt from Sonourous Films alongside a great crew. Shooting will take place at The Cellar in Oxford on Sunday 27th Februrary but we’re in need of some Zombies…

Basically we’re looking for a crowd of gig-goers to transform into the undead during the song. The premise is that the infection is caused by Aaron using a mysterious effects pedal labelled ‘DEAD’. We’re going for a 28 Days Later vibe, so we’re talking fake blood and sweat as opposed to your classic justcrawledoutfromagrave Thriller zombie.
If you’re up for a bit of fake blood and frolics then check out some more info about the shoot in our FAQ below:
What time do you want us there on Sunday?
12pm please – shouldn’t be a problem if you can’t make it for 12 precisely but it would make the shoot a hell of a lot easier. It’s hard to know for sure but shooting will probably be for a few hours. If you need to leave early that’s cool.
Where’s the Cellar?
Here! It’s on Cornmarket Street below Lush. The entrance is down the alley between Lush and GAP. We’ll put signs up and stuff.
What should I wear?
Anything comfortable which you’d normally wear to a gig that you don’t mind getting a bit of fake blood on. As it contains food colouring it is likely to stain so don’t turn up in your Sunday best! Don’t wear anything too comfortable mind you. A Snuggie™ and slippers might look weird unless you can pull it off like this guy can…

Do you want me to bring my own make up?
Nah no need to worry about that. We’ve got plenty of make up along with some make up artists. The first crowd shots will be zombie-less so we’ll get you looking fly in between takes. Chapstick/Lipsyl is fine though.
So what’s this fake blood and sweat made out of?
The fake blood is made from water, flour, cornflour syrup and food colouring. The fake sweat is just water and glycerine (it’s quite safe, you’ll find it in most beauty products. Don’t confuse it for Nitroglycerine A.K.A. Dynamite. That would be terrifying).
Will I be paid?
Afraid not. Most of the crew are kindly working on a voluntary basis and we’ve spent all our cash on Haribo and retro hats. We will be able to pay you in free food and fizzy pop and if you give us your e-mail address on the day we’ll also send you an exclusive early copy of our forthcoming EP absolutely free!
Will it be on TV and will it make me famous?
Hopefully we’ll get it broadcast somewhere. Perhaps a public-access channel in Lithuania will pick it up. And yes it almost definitely will make you famous… at least to us.
